Archbold

•Distinguished Alumni Nominations are being accepted for the 2007 award at Northwest State Community College, to be awarded to selected graduates who have excelled in their chosen careers. •Winter programs at Sauder Village. "Historic Farming at Sauder Village," offered March 20. "Caretakers of the Past: An Inside Look at the Collections of Sauder Village," March 13. "Natives and Newcomers: From Idea to Award-Winning Reality," March 27. "Erie Sauder: A Man Who Made a Difference," March 6. Time for all programs is 9:30-10:30 a.m. Cost is $5, or $3 for members. •Women's mood disorder support group meets 11 a.m. the fourth Tuesday of the month at ADAMhs Board office, T-761 State Rte. 66. Free. For more information: 419-636-2076.

•Art club 4-5 p.m. March 5 at Archbold Ruihley Scout Cabin. Grades 4-8 receive instruction in creative drawing with pencil, pen, and ink from Barb Stuckey. Cost is $40 and includes all supplies. Registration necessary. Call: 419-445-4704.

Delta

•Cat in the Hat birthday celebration 4 p.m. March 2 at Delta Public Library, 402 Main St. Children are invited to celebrate the 50th birthday with games, craft, video, and cake. Registration required: 419-822-3110.

Swanton

•Library program for preschool age children, Swanton Public Library, 305 Chestnut St. New six-week session to start March 6. Ages 3 to 5 will meet Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. and Saturdays at 11 a.m. in the children's program room. Ages 6 months to 2 years, with an attending adult, meets Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. in the library community room. Registration is not required. For information, call 419-826-2760.

•Read It and Eat It, for Grades 3-5 at Swanton Public Library, March 9 from 4 to 5 p.m. Kids will read fantastic fun food books, play gourmet games, and make scrumptious snacks. Registration for this free program is available by phoning: 419-826-2760.

•Holy Trinity Catholic Church at Marygrove, 1750 Raab Rd. Fish fry Fridays: March 2, 16, and 30. Adults $7, carryouts $7, children grades 1-8 $3. Dine-in pre-school free.

•St. Richard School open house 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 4 at 333 Brookside Dr. Families with children entering pre-K through 8th grades invited to experience the benefits of education at St. Richard School. Brunch offered during open house. For more information, call: 419-826-5041.

•Alaskan pollock fish fry, 5 to 7:30 p.m. March 9 and 23, and 4 to 7 p.m. April 6 at St. Richard Church, 333 Brookside Dr. Half price for ages 12 and under. Hot dogs available for children.

Wauseon

•"How Your Body Works" 9-11 a.m. March 7 and 7-9 p.m. March 8 at Fulton County Health Center, 725 South Shoop Ave. Dr. Rebecca McClarren presents information and discussion on body functions before and after diagnosis of diabetes.
