•"Traveling Pants" exhibit and signing at the library, 4-5:30 p.m. May 9 at Swanton Public Library, 305 Chestnut St. Based on the novel and movie Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares, a pair of jeans has been traveling the country from library to library. Teens are invited to sign, take pictures, and then send them onto another library. Food, fun, and prizes for teens grades 6-12. Bring a pair of jeans for a craft. •Babysitting clinic, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 12 at Swanton Public Library. Open to ages 11 and older. Certificate awarded upon completion of clinic.
