The Manor House at Wildwood Preserve Metropark was more festive than usual recently because it was Mardi Gras time. There were clowns, magicians, face painters, and caricature artists, including, at right, Brandon Ballmer of Maumee, foreground, left, and Monica Hong of Toledo, who draw guests Reyhaneh Fakhari, background, left, and Megan O'Dell, both of Temperance. Proceeds go toward summer nature camps.
