Dana Edmonds is the math department chairman at Whitmer High School. Because of her ability to relate well with all her students, math scores have improved tremendously under her leadership. Her innovative curriculum design allows all students to excel.
Mrs. Edmonds is responsible for initiating a new curriculum for mathematics for grades 7-12.
"Since Dana has taken over the leadership of our math department, student performance has improved dramatically," said Edward Kaser, Jr., associate principal.
Ms. Edmonds has a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Toledo.
