Friends, family, and classmates are rallying around a Whitmer High School sophomore who was paralyzed in a car accident in May.
A pancake breakfast, golf scramble, and motorcycle poker run are planned for Saturday to help the family of Brandon Lillibridge, 15, with medical expenses.
Activities will begin at 9 a.m. with a pancake breakfast at Tamaron Country Club, 2162 West Alexis Rd. Adult tickets are $6 in advance and $7 at the door. Children's tickets are $4 in advance or $5 at the door. Advance tickets are available at The Andersons store at Monroe Street and Talmadge Road or by e-mail at breakfast4brandon@
Across the street at noon, motorcyclists will set off from Malibu's Bar, 2045 Alexis Rd., returning at 6 p.m. Riders will stop at designated sites and draw cards for a poker hand. Tickets are $10 per bike and $5 for each additional passenger.
The ride will be followed by a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and food.
