The Sylvania Youth Conservation Corps is taking job applications from junior high school students in the Sylvania community for this year's program.
The dates are June 15 through July 15, with work project hours 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week.
The “learn and earn” summer sessions include working in Sylvania parks and other public lands. A small stipend is paid each week.
Applications are available at Sylvania junior high schools and the Sylvania Parks and Forestry office, 8425 Sylvania Metamora Rd. Deadline for applications is May 3.
