In Sylvania, Wall of Honor is a moving experience

The names of 812 men and women from Sylvania are on the Wall of Honor, which was begun in 1943. Honor guards were from the American Legion Post 468, VFW Post 7131, and the Junior Naval Cadets. Rep. The Wall was moved from the former Burnham High School, of which Earl, Dietsch, and Paul are graduates, to Sylvania's City Administration Building. The former school has been demolished to clear the way for a new elementary. The memorial lists the names of 812 men and women from Burnahm who served during the war.
