Harroun work in final stages
Resurfacing Harroun Road was 95 percent finished as of Monday, but some work may require occasional lane closings for several more weeks, Sylvania Service Director Jeff Ballmer said.
All paving is complete, but an "asphalt rejuvenator" seal coat still is to be applied, and after that, thermal plastic lane markings will replace temporary stripes painted on the roadway, Mr. Ballmer said.
The permanent lane markings probably won't be applied before late next week, he said. That will require short-term lane closings, as will installation of traffic-detection cameras at stoplights, Mr. Ballmer said.
