Since Jeff Wolford has joined the Pike-Delta-York High School staff, he has been active in all phases of student and professional life.
He has served on numerous committees, coached numerous sports, and has been a favorite of students because of his enthusiasm for his subjects and love of the kids.
As a coach, Mr. Wolford has produced many wrestling state qualifiers and placers. He coached Delta High School to a third-place finish.
As a teacher, he has been a member of the faculty advisory committee, chairman of the high school autism team, university adjunct instructor, and has served as interim high school principal.
"I cannot overstate my respect for Jeff Wolford," said Martin Friess, principal. "He is passionate about his community, his church, his school, and most important, his family. He brings an energy and enthusiasm to his job each day that elevates all around him. Students are fortunate to be in his classroom."
