This morning, still pecking away at a column I started yesterday.
There s apparently an immutable law of nature that says every column you expect to go smoothly will not. I ve been doing this for who know how many years now, and I still can t quite figure out what can sometimes make even the simplest of column concepts turn into such hurdles.
Anyway, I ll be in full Scramble Mode later today daughter and I are off this weekend for a round of college visits.
Sigh.
While her father stays home to hold down the fort, Annointed Child and I will be waking up waaaay too early tomorrow to catch our flight. Our plan is a veritable commando raid on a few schools we ve lined up and then back again by midweek until the next round.
I ll probably post early in the week from somewhere along Higher Ed Road.
