This vintage advertisement for Pepsi-Cola was exposed when siding was removed from the Consaul Tavern, at Consaul and Genesee streets in East Toledo's Hungarian ethnic neighborhood. The building is being renovated and will be operated by the owners of nearby Tony Packo's Cafe as a neighborhood bar. Co-owner Rob Horvath said an artist has been hired to restore the Pepsi sign, which dates from the late 1930s or early 1940s.
