The U.S. Department of Labor announced Thursday that workers from two northwest Ohio companies are among 1,700 statewide and 14,000 nationally who will qualify for trade adjustment assistance.
Laid-off workers at least 50 years old or older from Nobel Automotive Ohio LLC in Archbold and Sanoh American Inc. in Findlay will qualify for the assistance. It will pay up to $12,000 over a two-year period for workers who obtain new employment at wages less than $55,000 and less than their previous wage. The workers also qualify for retraining funding.
