Owens Corning opens glass fiber facility in China

Owens Corning has opened a glass fiber manufacturing facility in Hangzhou, China, the company announced Wednesday.

The plant, which launched in December, has 280 employees and serves Chinese customers for Toledo-based OC, which makes building materials. This is OC’s eighth production facility in Asia, its fourth in China, the firm said.
