Firms in Wauseon, Delta, Toledo fined by OSHA

Worker safety violations at three area companies resulted in fines in excess of $17,000 for each.

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration cited River City Polymers LLC, of 425 Enterprise Ave., Wauseon, for 12 serious violations and issued a fine of$31,500 for allegedly failing to protect employees from electrical hazards, among other violations, during an inspection in February.

Keith Campbell Signs Inc., 3828 Secor Rd., was accused by OSHA of seven serious violations and given$23,760 in fines for allegedly failing to properly protect employees from eye hazards and falling dangers during an inspection in March.

Product Movers LLC, of 6420 Rogers Rd., Delta, was accused by the agency of six serious violations and fined $17,850 for allegedly failing to protect employees from potential welding and respiratory injuries during an inspection in January.
