The Blade’s Web site, toledoblade.com, reached 1 million unique visitors in March, marking the highest number of users in the site’s history.
A redesigned version of toledoblade.com launched in February. John Crisp, director of sales and new media for The Blade, attributed the site’s record to its increased accessibility, as well as users coming from The Blade’s new mobile Web site.
Mr. Crisp said he expects Web traffic will continue to be boosted by The Blade’s iPad and iPhone apps.
