Two bidders seeking to buy MedCorp Inc.'s assets submitted a $500,000 deposit yesterday toward their purchase offers.
The Toledo ambulance firm is in Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. An attorney for bankruptcy trustee John Graham said he received deposits from UnivEMS LLC, which is headed by MedCorp owner Richard Bage, and American Ambulette & Ambulance Service Inc., a Dayton ambulance firm owned by a New York City equity fund.
The next hearing in MedCorp's bankruptcy case is set for 11:30 a.m. Sept. 30.
