Grant to allow resurfacing of Put-in-Bay Airport runway

PUT-IN-BAY, Ohio -- A $1,346,028 Federal Aviation Administration grant will pay for resurfacing the runway and aircraft apron at Put-in-Bay Airport, U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D., Ohio) announced Monday.

“Put-in-Bay Airport provides important travel services to Ottawa County small businesses and tourism industry,” Mr. Brown said in a statement. “This funding will improve the safety and efficiency of the airport so it can remain a reliable option for our region.”
