Fifth Third reinvests in Hens’ golden egg
When Fifth Third Bank signed on to have its name used on the Toledo Mud Hens’ new downtown ballpark in 2001, the stadium’s success was not seen as a sure thing. As it turned out, the bank’s 15-year, $5 million commitment was money well-spent, and the bank has agreed to a 12-year extension through the end of the 2028 season.
