Bad weather stunts profits at Andersons
A slow start to the growing season caused profits at The Andersons Inc. to drop nearly 90 percent in the first quarter, the company reported Tuesday. For the quarter, the Maumee agribusiness had a profit of $4.1 million, or 14 cents per share, down from $22.7 million, or 80 cents per share, a year ago.
