■ Toledo building products maker Owens Corning has elected a new board member, Adrienne D. Elsner, president of U.S. snacks at Kellogg Co.

■ The Rudolph Libbe Group, a contractor firm based in Walbridge, Ohio, has received the Presidential Award of Excellence in Engineering from the American Institute of Steel Construction for its work on the ProMedica headquarters in downtown Toledo.
