You’re certain to find the perfect pumpkin. We grow thousands and thousands of pumpkins – 30 varieties – on twelve acres. Besides the traditional varieties, we grow unique varieties to meet your special need. Pie pumpkins are best for baking homemade pumpkin pies. Hull-less Seed Pumpkins are best if you love roasting pumpkin seeds (come early and stock up on these, because they are a popular item!). Giant Pumpkins are our specialty. You’ll be the talk of the neighborhood with a giant pumpkin. Our farm’s pumpkin record is 504 lbs from 2007 (it probably wouldn’t have fit into your car, so you might want to go with something a bit smaller!) back to top   Gourds   Small gourds in a variety of sizes, shapes and colors, as well as large green gourds in shapes such as “birdhouse,” “snake,” “bottle,” “bushel,” etc. Gourds can be dried and made into crafts such as birdhouses.   back to top     Dried Gourds   If you don’t want to wait for your fresh gourds to dry, we have dried gourds available to purchase for your crafting needs.   back to top     Squash   We grow a large variety of winter squash, including Acorn (green, orange, and multi-colored), Butternut, Spaghetti, Hubbard (small and giant), Delicata, Buttercup, Heart of Gold, Sweet Dumpling, Blue Jarradale, Turks Turbin, Pink Banana Jumbo, Long Island Cheese, Neck Pumpkin, and others.   back to top     Apples   We grow several varieties of apples in our orchard, which ripen at different times throughout the season. Early varieties include Honeycrisp and Jonathan, At the beginning of October, Red Delicious, Yellow Delicious, and Grimes ripen. Later into October, Jonalicious and Rome Beauty ripen. Variety bags are available as well. Call ahead of time if you are looking for a specific variety (419-836-7613). Apples are available in quarter-peck and peck bags, as well as by the bushel. Please call ahead if you would like a bushel.   back to top     Apple Cider   Fresh apple cider is available to purchase by the gallon, or come on the weekend for a fresh glass cold or hot in the snack shack.   back to top     Corn Shocks   A generous bundle of corn stalks to decorate your light post or porch. Each shock includes about 10 stalks of corn. We have popcorn on the cob! Toss it in a paper bag and pop it in the microwave right on the cob!   back to top     Squirrel Corn   Purchase by the ear or a bushel to feed your friendly neighborhood squirrels.   back to top     Pumpkin Carving Kits   We don’t grow them, but we have a variety of carving kits available to purchase so you can go home and sculpt the perfect pumpkin.   back to top     Broom Corn   A broom corn stalk looks like regular corn, but instead of producing ears, the stalk tops out with beautiful broom-like strands with tiny red and brown seeds.
