Findlay man killed as his pickup is hit by a car

FOSTORIA - A Findlay man was killed yesterday when his pickup truck collided with a car at State Rt. 199 and State Rt. 281 in Wood County, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Harold Wiseman, 60, was pronounced dead at the scene, about seven miles north of here, troopers said.

Mr. Wiseman, driving west on Route 281, stopped at a stop sign at Route 199 about 1:30 p.m. When he tried to drive across Route 199, his pickup was hit by a westbound car driven by Alysha Clauss, 20, of Upper Sandusky, troopers said.

Ms. Clauss was treated at Fostoria Community Hospital. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
