ADRIAN - Lenawee County has ordered recounts in two races that ended practically tied after final results from the Nov. 7 election.
The races affected are the contest for a county road commission board seat and the 3rd district county commission seat, which represents the Tecumseh area. In the road commission race, Republican Donald Isley edged Democrat Russel Roback by 73 votes out of more than 35,000 cast; in the county commission race, Republican David Abraham finished 14 votes ahead of Democrat LeRoy Gardner.
County officials have not decided how the recounts will be conducted.
