BOWLING GREEN - Wood County commissioners agreed yesterday to again contribute $30,000 to the county's regional airport authority to help pay for airport operations this year.
Commissioners have been trying for some time to turn the airport over to the city of Bowling Green and recently decided to seek an opinion from the county prosecutor on how to go about making that conversion.
The airport, which is governed by a board appointed by commissioners, is situated in the city on land owned by either Bowling Green State University or the airport authority.
