BOWLING GREEN - A city police officer who helped save the life of a teenager who was choking will be recognized by the Wood County District Office of the American Red Cross tonight.

The Red Cross will present a "Lifesaving Award for the Professional Responder" to Officer Smith at Bowling Green's city council meeting.
