Meeting to address plans for skating for disabled

FINDLAY - A group that hopes to make ice skating classes available for people with disabilities is holding an informational meeting for interested parents and volunteers from Hancock and Wood counties Sunday.

The Findlay Chapter of the Skating Association for the Blind and Handicapped will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Endly Room of the University of Findlay's Alumni Memorial Union.

A group of University of Findlay faculty and community members formed the chapter with the goal of making skating classes available to disabled children and adults from the two counties beginning this fall.
