Missing suspect gets television exposure

Grady Lee Brinkley, the accused murderer who was accidentally released from the Lucas County jail in November, will be profiled on America's Most Wanted: America Fights Back tonight at 9 p.m.

Authorities have been looking for Brinkley, 33, since he was freed Nov. 3 as a result of a paperwork error that was not discovered for three days. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty against him for the slashing death of his ex-girlfriend.

Detectives Jeffrey Kozak and Dennis Richardson of the Northwest Ohio Violent Crimes/Fugitive Task Force are in Washington, where the show is produced, to receive telephone tips.
