2 injured in collision near Upper Sandusky

UPPER SANDUSKY - Two drivers were hurt when their vehicles collided yesterday at U.S. 30 and Wyandot County Road 81 west of here, troopers with the Bucyrus post of the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Troopers said a sport utility vehicle driven by Vickie Lee Betz, 45, of Kenton, was southbound on County Road 81 about 7:30 a.m. when it collided with a car driven by Ralph Leroy McCall, 33, of Upper Sandusky, which was westbound on U.S. 30.

The drivers were taken to Wyandot Memorial Hospital, where Mr. McCall was treated. Ms. Betz was transferred to Grant Medical Center, Columbus, where her condition was unavailable yesterday. Ms. Betz was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
