FREMONT - A 76-year-old woman died in a two-vehicle crash Saturday in Sandusky County's Jackson Township, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.
Dorcas Hossler of Bowling Green died when the car she was riding in collided with another at State Rt. 12 and County Road 592. Her husband, Donald Hossler, 82, survived the crash.
Troopers in Fremont said the Hossler vehicle was westbound on County Road 592 when it failed to yield for a stop sign. A car driven by Thurlow Steffy, 44, of Findlay, which was southwest on State Rt. 12, collided with the Hossler car.
Both vehicles spun off the southwest corner of the intersection, and the Hossler car struck a guardrail.
Mr. Steffy, along with his wife Janet, 28, and three passengers, Amanda Steffy, 18, Alison Steffy, 13, and Emily Church, 13, were all treated in Fostoria City Hospital.
The accident remains under investigation. No charges have been filed.
