Wood Lane program to move to Jordan Center at BGSU

Wood Lane program to move to Jordan Center at BGSU

BOWLING GREEN - Wood Lane's growing early-intervention program for families with children age 2 and under will be moved to the Jordan Center at Bowling Green State University next year.

For the past few years, Wood Lane officials had been discussing the possibility of working with other local agencies to build an early childhood center that would put a number of services and programs for children and families under one roof.

Money that had been earmarked for the proposed center will be used to lease space in an addition planned at the Jordan Center. The Wood County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities, which oversees Wood Lane, recently signed a five-year lease on the space.
