Delphos resident charged for running into tracks

MILLER CITY, Ohio - A Delphos woman was charged yesterday by Putnam County sheriff's deputies after she ran her vehicle into the side of railroad tracks on State Rt. 108.

Christine Miller, 34, was treated for injuries in St. Rita's Putnam County Ambulatory Care Center in Ottawa.

A witness told authorities that Ms. Miller was northbound at 1:18 a.m. when she went off the right side of the roadway and struck the railroad tracks. Her car went about 15 to 20 feet in the air and overturned, landing on the driver's side in the northbound lane. Ms. Miller was trapped inside the vehicle.

She was charged with failure to maintain reasonable control and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.
