Southbound I-280 will be closed through Toledo tonight, and the northbound lanes will be closed tomorrow night, while state contractors shift construction-zone traffic patterns, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced yesterday.
Starting at 8 p.m. tonight, the southbound lanes will be closed between I-75 and Navarre Avenue. They will reopen at 6 a.m.
The northbound lanes will be closed at 8 p.m. tomorrow between State Rt. 795 and I-75, and will reopen at 6 a.m. Thursday. Crews will be moving barrier walls to change the traffic patterns at two sites where I-280 is being widened.
The work areas are between I-75 and the Buckeye Basin Greenbelt Parkway and between Front Street and Navarre. In the event of bad weather, the closings will be postponed.
