Reconstruction of Dorr Street between Secor Road and Westwood Avenue will begin next week with the installation of a water line on the north side of Dorr, the Ohio Department of Transportation has announced.
Lanes might be closed today while signs are posted and other preparations are made. Daily lane closings will begin Monday, Joe Rutherford, a spokesman for the department, said.
The water line is expected to be completed in April, after which widening and resurfacing of the roadway will begin. ODOT expects traffic congestion during the work. Contractor Anderzack-Pitzen Construction, Inc., of Metamora, has until Oct. 31 to finish the $1.48 million project.
