Emergency services to hold open house

An open house will be held from noon to 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Lucas County Emergency Services Building, 2144 Monroe St.

The event, which is being held in recognition of the National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, is open to the public. Toledo Mayor Jack Ford will read a proclamation to kick off the event.

The building, which houses the 911 center, was rededicated Sept. 14 after a $3.8 million addition, renovation, and equipment upgrade.
