Trooper in menacing case is placed on paid leave
An Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper indicted for aggravated menacing has been placed on paid administrative leave pending an administrative decision about her punishment.
A grand jury indicted Rosemary Sullivan Friday for shooting a gun in front of a Swanton Township home and filing a false report that her firearm had been stolen. Patrol officials waited until the grand jury decision before taking action on the case, patrol spokesman Lt. Gary Lewis said.
A final decision on the case will be made after reviewing highway patrol policy.
