Bob Davis And His Amazing Russian SUKHOI SU-29
You could say that Bob Davis's fate was sealed in 1971 when he entered and won his first advanced category in an aerial acrobatic competition.
Since then he's performed before more than 21,000,000 spectators. Piloting all kinds of aircraft, he's logged more than 30,000 flight hours, including 3,500 aerobatic* hours. He teams up with a Russian SUKHOI SU-29 - touted to be the best performing aerobatic aircraft in the world - to perform astounding acts of aerobatic agility.
The designers of the SU-29 engineered it to outperform any other aircraft in aerobatic shows and competitions. It is made of Titanium-alloy, stainless steel tubing and advanced composites that allow its wing and tail surfaces to handle loads in excess of 20 Gs. A nine-cylinder Vedeneyev M-14P 360-hp radial engine driving the three-blade propeller emits a throaty sound that adds to the crowd?s anticipation of what Bob will do next.
Experience 12 minutes of loop-the-loops, torque rolls, vertical cartwheels, sideways flight, and other maneuvers you've never heard of or seen before. Bob narrates live from the cockpit over the public address system, so you'll feel like you're along for the ride.
After his act, Bob will be around to talk about his flight adventures and sign autographs.
