Findlay woman killed, 2 injured near Bluffton

BLUFFTON, Ohio — A 36-year-old Findlay woman was killed and two people were injured Tuesday evening when two cars collided on State Rt. 235 just south of I-75, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Karen McClellan was pronounced dead at the scene in Hancock County's Union Township, about two miles northeast of Bluffton.

Richard Moyer, 85, of Mt. Cory, Ohio, the driver of a second car, was in fair condition yesterday in Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center, Findlay. His passenger, Doneta Moyer, 86, also of Mt. Cory, was in critical condition at the same hospital.

According to troopers at the patrol's Findlay post, Ms. McClellan was northbound on Route 235 about 5:45 p.m. when her car veered into the southbound lane and into the path of the oncoming Moyer car.
