Port Clinton mayor files petitions for re-election

Mr. Brown, 62, a Republican, is seeking a third term as mayor of the Ottawa County seat. He said he wants to complete several projects, including a nearly $12 million upgrade of the city's wastewater treatment system.

The mayor will be opposed by one of two Democrats, City Council President Joe Greer or Larry Bennice, who plan to run in the May 6 primary.
