FREMONT — The WSOS Community Action Commission is offering assistance to low-income residents to make their homes more energy-efficient.
Under the Home Weatherization Assistance Program, WSOS replaces broken window glass, inspects and adjusts furnaces, and insulates floors, walls, attics, furnace ducts, and pipes. For customers of Ohio Edison and Toledo Edison, the program also pays for the installation of energy-saving light bulbs.
The program is open to families who meet income guidelines. The agency provides aid to people in Wood, Sandusky, Ottawa, and Seneca counties.
