Pandora man dies after his car hits tree

FINDLAY — A 58-year-old Pandora, Ohio man died yesterday when the car he was driving left Hancock County Road 37 and struck a tree near the Hancock-Putnam county line, authorities said.

Harold E. Brown was pronounced dead at the scene, the Hancock County sheriff's deputies said.

Mr. Brown's car was westbound on Road 37 about 1 a.m. went it left the roadway.

Emergency crews extricated Mr. Brown from the vehicle. He was not wearing a seat belt, deputies said.
