OAK HARBOR, Ohio — A U.S. Senate subcommittee has approved $850,000 for the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge visitor center, which if approved by the full Senate, will be in addition to $1.95 million the Senate provided in February.
The appropriation is sponsored by Ohio Republican Sens. Mike DeWine and George Voinovich.
