Wood County society's new director settles in

BOWLING GREEN — The former director of the Wyandot County Historical Society has been hired by Wood County Commissioners as the director of the Wood County Historical Center.

Christie W. Raber started her new job last Monday. Mrs. Raber, who will be paid $30,665 a year, replaces Stacey Hann-Ruff, who left the post in June after three years as director to take a job in Maryland.

A graduate of Otterbein College, Mrs. Raber has been director/curator in Wyandot County since 1997. She is completing a master of arts degree at the University of Toledo with a concentration in U.S. history and public history.
