Steven Ostrander, 31, was being held at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio near Stryker on charges of possession of criminal tools and driving under suspension.
He also was being held on a warrant from Henry County charging him with interfering with custody.
According to the Adrian post of the Michigan State Police, a metal money box was taken during a break-in early yesterday at the Munson Farm Center in Morenci, Mich.
Troopers were called to the business about 1 a.m. after a witness saw a man get out of a Jeep and go inside an office building.
About 2:15 a.m., Fayette police stopped a Jeep matching the description of the one seen at the break-in scene and arrested the driver.
Inside the vehicle, officers found a hooded mask, a pry bar, and gloves.
