The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department and the City of Toledo Building Department and Environmental Services will hold three public education sessions tomorrow through Thursday on the city's new smoking restrictions, also known as the clean indoor air ordinance.
The sessions will be held at the Walbridge Park Shelter House, 2801 Broadway, at 11 a.m. tomorrow, 12 p.m. Wednesday, and 4 p.m. Thursday.
The ordinance, which was passed unanimously July 10 by City Council and signed by Toledo Mayor Jack Ford, prohibits smoking in restaurants, bars, and bowling alleys, except in enclosed, separately ventilated smoking lounges.
