A free public concert of patriotic music by the Air National Guard of the Great Lakes band drew about 350 people to the Delta American Legion Hall on Sunday. The 230-member legion and 120-member auxiliary was to decide this week how it would spend the profits from its turkey and ham dinner served before the concert. One possibility was an outdoor sign to announce Legion events.
The band, which had appeared at the legion hall two years ago, will be asked to play again in 2005, said Ruth Shelt, an auxiliary member who booked the band.
