SANDUSKY — A Sandusky lawyer has been named to fill a vacancy on the board of commissioners for Erie MetroParks.
Thomas Dusza will serve the remaining two years of the three-year term of Kevin Zeiher, who resigned recently. Mr. Dusza was appointed by Erie County Probate Court Judge Beverly McGookey.
Mr. Dusza of Huron, Ohio, has been a lawyer for 13 years for the Sandusky-based firm of Reno, Bodgen, and Ferber. He also is a board member for the Firelands chapter of the American Red Cross.
The other park commissioners are former state Rep. Fred Deering (D., Monroeville) and Fred Nottke.
