Nominations sought for advocacy award

BOWLING GREEN — Nominations for the Champion of the Children Award are being accepted in Wood County.

The award — sponsored by the Friends of Wood County Court Appointed Special Advocate advisory board — recognizes an individual who lives or works in Wood County and has made special contributions or efforts for children who are victims of abuse, neglect, or dependency. Applications are due by March 15 and the award will be given in April.
