LIMA, Ohio — The Allen County commissioners yesterday fired the county dog warden, Mack Shepard, citing malfeasance in office, but offering no specific details of the alleged offense.
Mr. Shepard was appointed to the post in September, 1998. He was paid $27,872 a year.
The commissioners, who voted 3-0 to fire Mr. Shepard, said sheriff's deputies were investigating the dog warden's office.
