A woman was hurt seriously yesterday when the car she was driving went off the 1500 block of Slater Street and hit a tree, Toledo police said.
Nancy Nagle, 34, who has addresses in Toledo and Perrysburg Township, was admitted to Toledo Hospital in critical condition, authorities said.
Ms. Nagle was driving east on Slater about 8 a.m. when the car went off the road and struck the tree. She was thrown into the back seat of the car upon impact, Officer Al Rankin said.
Ms. Nagle was cited for driving under the influence, a seat belt violation, failure to control, driving with a suspended license, and drug paraphernalia, Officer Rankin said.
