Wauseon snowmobiler dies from Jan. 31 injuries

A Fulton County snowmobile driver died yesterday morning, more than a week after an early morning accident in a snow-covered field.

Brandin Kramer, 23, of 17422 County Road N, Wauseon, was pronounced dead shortly after 9 a.m. in Medical College of Ohio Hospitals. Authorities said he was riding his snowmobile in a Gorham Township field about 3 a.m. Jan. 31, when he hit a farm implement that was partially covered by snow. He had a helmet on but was thrown from the vehicle, said coroner's investigator Steve Kahle.

He was taken to Medical College by helicopter. The Lucas County coroner's office has scheduled an autopsy today.
